此為藝術家在颱風來臨前，於台北近郊象山，觀看城市變化的創作。氣候在颱風來臨前有著極端的色彩變化，畫面中，豐厚雲彩罩著台北盆地形成大片陰影之時，剛好有陽光透出，投射於陰影之間，形成焦點，也隱約看到融入在建築群中的101高樓。

Typhoons are heralded by extreme changes of color. Although thick clouds form broad swaths of shadow over the Taipei Basin, a ray of sunlight shines through and the faint silhouette of Taipei 101 can be seen.

法國南方普羅旺斯的馬賽港，藝術家描繪晨曦時的藍色光影，剛透出的陽光，反射出金黃色的古老建築；在暗黑的天空下，水面有著一道白光，與前方數百艘靜靜停著的遊艇，形成巧妙的畫面，感覺港口寧靜存在中透出的清新空氣。

Sunlight shining through the blue morning sky gives the old buildings a golden hue; the dark sky, light reflecting off the water and yachts at anchor hint at the serenity of the harbor.

藝術家用色塊鋪陳，展現山形跟古城的震撼感受；畫面以白色牆壁、紅色屋瓦的中古世紀建築群，應著前面的藍色樹林與後面的山形，再藉由橫跨從左到右的長弧構圖，讓山城綿延不斷的氣勢呈現在眼前。

The complex mosaic of downtown Paris serves as the backdrop to the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of the city. The cloud in the sky offers another point of contrast as well.

威尼斯，半沉在水面上的一個城市。藝術家用白色的宮殿建築為背景，水藍的運河色彩、黑色船身散落其間，在白黑藍之間凸顯幾個紅色點綴，還有垂直的船尾竿，讓人感受一種詩意，以及流動於白色油彩間的靈性。

A white palace serves as the background for the blue canal and black gondolas. A sprinkling of reds amidst the white, black and blue along with long barge poles form a poem of their own.
